Based on Colossians 3:9-10: “You have taken off your old self with its practices 10 and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator” (NIV). Pastor Shawn talks about “Growing in Grace,” about putting off the old and putting on the new.
From Colossians 2:6-7: “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness” (NIV). Pastor Shawn talks about what weakens our faith in Christ and then also what strengthens our faith.
From the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38-42, Pastor Shawn talks about “Learning to Listen to Jesus” In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus’ interaction with Mary and Martha reveals how to have a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Pastor Shawn talks about “Being the Good Samaritan” – Luke 10:25-37. It’s about love which feels something and does something for our neighbor.
