From the Matthew 5:27-37, Pastor Shawn looks at integrity is the fundamental glue that holds your life together. Think of integrity as the rivets that hold the hull of a ship together; if they fail, you sink! The text is the Sermon on the Mount and Jesus makes following the 10 Commandment totally impossible. We may take pride, for example, in the fact that we’ve never violated the 7th commandment: “Thou shalt not kill!” But Jesus said that God will say that you broke that commandment just by getting angry with someone. According Jesus, we’re all sunk! So, where does true integrity come from? How can I live with integrity in my daily life—that’s the question.
