With the Centers for Disease Control now restricting gatherings to fifty people or less and for elderly people and those with underlying health issues to not more than ten, Trinity Lutheran Church will not be holding Pastor Ehlers’ Tuesday Morning Bible Class, the midweek Lenten fellowship meal and worship this Wednesday. This next weekend’s worship (March 21 and 22) will also be canceled. Also, I received notice that hospitals don’t allow clergy calls at this time; however, it’s comforting to know that Chaplain Bob Frank is on staff at OSF and Chaplain Jeff McPike is on staff at Carle.
We will go forward on a week by week basis, and we will provide information in as timely a manner as possible. Additionally, I am in the process of developing online devotions and worship resources that I’ll post on the Trinity website. During this time, the church office is open as usual, and you’re welcome to call, text or email me at any time.
